THE WOODLAND TERRACE
Visit The Shepherd Hut for tasty take away treats in a tranquil, natural setting. Take a seat in the Tipi or on the lawn and enjoy sweeping valley views across to Restormel Castle. We are dog friendly too.
Come and enjoy the peaceful views from the Woodland Terrace. This scenic plateau overlooking the Nursery and beyond to Restormel Castle, provides you with a cosy tipi and open lawn to enjoy our new Street Food offering (open weekends only). Our Grill Kitchen is at full fire with a selection of Greek inspired takeaways packed with souvlaki, salad and dips. Or you can choose our particularly naughty skin-on fries, loaded with Red Leicester & wild garlic nacho cheese sauce.
The Shepherd’s Hut will provide all beverages and light snacks including sweet treats, hot soup and our famous Duchy Sage & Sausage Roll (open everyday 10am - 4pm).
What better way to while away the warming spring days on our Woodland Terrace than with some great new Duchy street food!
