FAQs

From our rules on dogs to arranging deliveries, we have answers to all the questions we’re asked the most. But if you don’t find what you’re looking for, just get in touch.

Can I bring dogs to the nursery?

Yes, dogs are welcome in all areas of the nursery, shop and external dining areas. It's only the main indoor café where we must restrict pets except for guide dogs.

Can I reserve a table in the café?

Tables can be reserved in the café for Sunday lunch, full afternoon teas and for the Garden Room private dining. At all other times we don't offer table reservations, but even when busy there's seldom a long wait and our virtual queuing system allows you to browse and enjoy our nursery while you wait for your table.

Do you offer mail order?

We don’t offer a full mail order service, but we can arrange for certain purchased items to be couriered to your address on an individual basis. Please call us for further information or a quote.

Is there an alternative route to the nursery rather than the narrow lane from Lostwithiel?

Yes, you can approach the nursery from the northerly direction following the signs off the A380 after West Taphouse or from the Respryn and Lanhydrock direction.

Can I check your current stock of certain plants?

Yes, you can use our plant finder facility to see what's available. If stock levels are less than five items, we recommend you call ahead so that we can reserve these for you.

Do you offer a delivery service?

We have a delivery partner that provides a comprehensive service to all areas of Cornwall and west Devon. Please get in touch if you'd like more information.

How long is the walk to Restormel Castle?

The Restormel trail is approximately 40 minutes each way, and we have a guide map pointing out areas of interest along the way.
