Cyanotype Workshop - Morning Session
Join Sarah from All out at Sea in the Tipi for an introduction to Cyanotype printing.
Have a go at cyanotype printing discovering one of the oldest and most beautiful forms of photographic printing. Cyanotype is a 19th-century process that produces distinctive blueprints using only sunlight and simple chemistry — a perfect mix of art and science. Experimenting with textures, natural materials, layering and composition. You’ll learn how to prepare your materials, arrange your designs and expose your work to UV light to develop rich Prussian blue tones. This workshop is designed for all levels, relaxed, hands-on, and focused on experimentation. You’ll come away with a finished set of prints, as well as the confidence to continue printing cyanotypes at home.
We will be holding the workshop in the Tipi, which is primarily an outdoor venue, so please dress accordingly weather depending.
This workshop includes tea or coffee during the break.
