Epidendrums are intermediate to warm-growing orchids, suitable for an east-facing windowsill in a warm room, with bright light but out of direct sunlight. This variety has long-lasting attractive clusters of red flowers on reed-like stems. Water frequently in spring and summer and fertilise once a week with orchid feed and reduce watering and feeding in winter. Repot every 2-3 years.
