Jani will be launching the last two titles of her popular series of 12 children's books, The Manor House Stories, with foreword by Julian Fellowes. Luxury bespoke gift boxes containing the complete set of 12 books will be on sale for the first time.
Jani will also be launching her latest book, the much anticipated sequel to her lighthearted autobiographical memoir, The Butterflies Fly Backwards, which will also be available. The Swallows Fly Back has a flattering endorsement by Julian Fellowes: This is a warm and funny demonstration of the triumph of the human spirit. Battered by almost every possible disaster, Jani and her husband come through them all, and keep you laughing until the end.
Launched at The Duchy of Cornwall Nursery in November 2021, Jani will also be signing and personalising first editions of A Greek Island Nature Diary, a watercolour trip through some of the Greek Islands most outstanding flora and fauna. The glowing introduction is by Dr. Lee Durrell MBE, widow of Gerald Durrell, and the foreword is by The Duke of Somerset. Written and illustrated by Jani, her lavish gift book is described as: 'A cornucopia of watercolour studies of flora, fauna and natural objects found in Corfu and the Ionian Sea, peppered with fascinating references to related history, mythology, medicinal and culinary uses'.
