Beschorneria septentrionalis

Beschorneria septentrionalis
Striking green leaved, Yucca-like plant which is hardy in mild gardens, otherwise a superb cold conservatory plant. Meandering shocking pink flower stalks 1.5m tall carry tubular red-pink flowers with green tips. Needs good, very well drained soil in full sun. Occasional minimum -8.C
The most northerly species of Beschorneria, growing in dry woodland in the mountains of Mexico. Our plants in tunnels have produced fruits containing viable seed.
