Evergreen shrub. Flower bracts range in colour from creamy-white to clear yellow. These bracts form a wide cup surrounding the large female cone or rich gold male flower which is produced in the spring. Makes a sturdy bush. Easy to grow on poor free draining soils in full sun. Once established should stand quite hard frosts. Height 2m.
