Cooker. Large green & red fruit which are juicy and full of flavour. The definitive English cooking apple and much the most popular. Vigorous grower & heavy cropper. Pick mid October. Use November/March.

Triploid variety requiring two pollinators for successful pollination. Flowering group 3. Parentage unknown, introduced 1837. (Plant Passport No UKEW 6556)

Half standard tree; MM106 medium vigour rootstock. (i.e. branching at about 1m and growing 3-4m tall)
