Camellia 'Duchess of Cornwall' (x williamsii).
Large vigorous evergreen shrub. Large open semi-double flowers. Deep pink buds, opening paler pink with salmon undertones. Height 3m.

Pot size: 2 litre. Height now: 40-50cm Soil: Acidic, moisture retentive. Position: Ideally part shade, full sun if soil conditions are good. Reasonable tolerance of coastal conditions. Growth rate: 30-45cm a year. Flowering period: 4-6 weeks in spring. Hardiness: Fully hardy though flowers will be damaged by frost.
