Lostwithiel itself is a very beautiful town. Stunning countryside surrounds it and with the river Fowey running alongside it, there are plenty of scenic walks to be had.

Restormel Castle sits across from the Nursery, providing stunning views of the valley and is within walking distance.

Lanhydrock is a magnificent 17th -century Victorian county house and estate and is a short drive from the Nursery and well worth a visit.

The quaint fishing town of Fowey is roughly a 20-minute drive from Lostwithiel and has a wealth of unusual shops, pubs and is home to Readymoney cove and St Catherine’s Castle.
