Plant Specifications
Open, upright evergreen shrub. Flowers formal double, 50 petals with incurved margins, bright pink with lavender cast. Mid season. Needs moist acid soil. Best in shade or part shade. Eventual height 3m+.
Pot size: 2 litre. Height now: 40-50cm Soil: Acidic, moisture retentive. Position: Ideally part shade, full sun if soil conditions are good. Reasonable tolerance of coastal conditions. Growth rate: 20-30cm a year. Flowering period: 4-6 weeks in spring. Hardiness: Fully hardy though flowers will be damaged by frost.
